1. FROM GLASGOW BOARD RE EXTENDED HOURS ON BANK HOLIDAYS
Saturdays into Sundays – On Sales such as Hotels, Restaurants, Bars, Late Night Entertainment Venues…
City of Glasgow Licensing Board has determined to grant one additional licensed hour beyond the terminal hour to all above licensed premises with an on-sales facility having seasonal variations within their operating plan during each of the following Saturday evenings into the early hours of Sunday mornings on the weekend of recognised public holidays in 2014 published by Glasgow City Council:
• The evening of Saturday 19 April into the early hours of Sunday 20 April
• The evening of Saturday 3 May into the early hours of Sunday 4 May
• The evening of Saturday 24 May into the early hours of Sunday 25 May
• The evening of Saturday 19 July into the early hours of Sunday 20 July
• The evening of Saturday 27 September into the early hours of Sunday 28 September
Where premises are open after 12 Midnight, they will be expected to comply with the Licensing
Board’s policy relative to the use of toughened glass and other recognised safety products in
licensed premises.
Sundays into Mondays – Late Night Entertainment Venues such as Nightclubs (excluding casinos)…
In addition, the Licensing Board has also determined to grant one additional licensed hour beyond the terminal hour to all late night entertainment venues* with a terminal licensed hour of 3am in the city centre and 2am or 3am outwith the city centre having seasonal variations in their operating plan on each of the following Sunday evenings into the early hours of Monday mornings on the weekend of the recognised public holidays published by Glasgow City Council:
• The evening of Sunday 20 April into the early hours of Monday 21 April
• The evening of Sunday 4 May into the early hours of Monday 5 May
• The evening of Sunday 25 May into the early hours of Monday 26 May
• The evening of Sunday 20 July into the early hours of Monday 21 July
• The evening of Sunday 28 September into the early hours of Monday 29 September
